Nine years ago, he landed in China with no plan to stay. But Hainan had other ideas. The waves, the heat, the rhythm of life here — it became home. He surfed every day he could, and what started as a passion turned into six years of running camps across Asia. From Hainan to Indonesia, Thailand to Sri Lanka, Malaysia and beyond. Never the easy way. Always chasing something real.

Monica
Known to friends as Qiezi — “eggplant.” She’s been in the water for eighteen years. One of the first women surfers in China. A member of the first Chinese national surfing team. Since 2011, she’s been running girls’ surf camps, bringing people to new waves, new places, and showing them that surfing is more than a sport — it’s a way to find yourself.
Together, we built BINGLANG.
Chapter 02
Six years of chasing waves.Eighteen years of living it.
Every location we visit gets checked by us first. The waves, the accommodation, the local guides, the food stalls only locals know about. We make sure that when our guests arrive, there are no surprises. Just the best waves, the best crew, and zero stress.
Monica brings the experience of a pioneer. She knows what it means to push into new water, to be the first, to create space for others. Anton brings the hustle of years running trips across borders, making sure everything runs smooth so you can focus on what matters — the surf.
Chapter 03
Surfing isn’t a sport.It’s a lifestyle.
That’s not a slogan — it’s how we operate. We don’t treat surfing like something you tick off a list. It’s not about collecting Instagram shots or saying you’ve been somewhere. It’s about the feeling when you’re sitting in the lineup at dawn. The taste of street food after a long session. The conversations with people who’ve lived their whole lives next to the ocean.
Monica has always believed that surfing helps people find a better version of themselves. We’ve seen it happen trip after trip. Strangers become friends. Nervous beginners find their confidence. Experienced surfers discover new waves and new perspectives.
Our trips are built around that. Local experience, maximum. You’ll surf with the best coaches on site, eat where we eat, and see the places that don’t make it into guidebooks.
